Submission intake and claims integration for a US commercial insurer

An event-driven layer that turns inbound ACORD submissions and attachments into underwriter-ready data instead of PDFs to re-key.

The problem

Submissions arrived as emails and PDFs. Underwriters spent their hours re-keying data into the policy-administration system, rating APIs and CRM instead of selecting risk.

What we built

An integration layer that ingests each ACORD submission and email attachment, reads and validates the content with AI document extraction, and synchronizes it across the policy-administration system, rating APIs and CRM.

What we owned in production

Extraction accuracy tracked against an evaluation set. Exceptions routed to a human reviewer. Every record logged.

Scope

Integration architecture and development, AI document-extraction pipeline, evaluation and guardrails, staging and production rollout.

Client name withheld under NDA.
