HOW WE WORK

Inside your team, on your terms.

We are not an agency that disappears into a statement of work. The team works where your team works, in the open, and you can see progress every sprint.

Engagement models

Embedded engineer — one senior engineer in an existing squad. For a specific open role.

Embedded pod — 2 to 4 people with a lead, owning one feature end to end.

Delivery team — PM, architect, engineers and QA for a full workstream.

The first 30 days

Week 1 — Access, environments, codebase walkthrough, first small change merged.

Week 2 — First sprint commitment inside your rhythm.

Weeks 3–4 — Ownership of the agreed scope; evals, logging and monitoring set up for anything AI.

Day 30 — Review together: keep, grow, change shape.

Rhythm

Sprints of one or two weeks: plan, build, check, adjust. Something working at the end of each. You are never more than two weeks from evidence.

Commercial terms

Time and materials, billed monthly

No fixed-price bids: scope on AI work changes as you learn, and fixed price fights that

Scale up or down with 30 days' notice

Before we start, we agree what the team should move: output per sprint, a feature in production, a role covered. If that is not moving, we say so early

Security and compliance

NDA and your security terms signed before access

Least-privilege access, your SSO and your tooling

Experience delivering under HIPAA and SOC 2 controls

Data residency respected: models called in-region, inside your tenant where required

Audit logging on every automated decision

Time zones and communication

Vancouver-led, working US hours. Your Slack or Teams, your tracker, your standups. A Digital Gateway lead is your single point of contact for staffing and quality.

Frequently asked questions

Do we interview the engineers?

Yes, if you want to. We propose people who fit, and you meet them before they start.

Who owns the code?

You do. Everything is written in your repositories under your license.

Do you subcontract?

The team is ours. If we ever bring in a specialist, you know their name and approve them first.
